We asked Judy to sensitize Canadian exporters attending the Maritime Security Expo to the market potential and the challenges of the public procurement market, and look at specific opportunities in maritime security.
Judy’s presentation was the highlight of the mission; a seminar like this is the best value we can offer to our visiting delegations. Her briefing made the companies understand the opportunity and some of the process and some of the challenges, and the ways to approach trying to sell to government.
Her presentation showed the delegation members that we as Trade Commissioners can bring experts straight to them, and they need not just take our advice on what it takes to sell to US government. She gave our audience a very good primer on what this market entails. Some of those who already do business with government got a refresher course. The most useful things included the buying authorities of different government agencies, and a better understanding of some of the things you need to do to start selling to the US government.
Judy’s on top of her game: conscientious, diligent, very eager and willing to personalize her materials according to the knowledge and abilities of the companies attending the presentations.
She met deadlines and also didn’t just give a canned presentation; she adapted to our audience, and went out of her way to help people who are learning how to pursue opportunities.
You should definitely hire her if you’re serious about the US government market and willing to make the time and money investments it’s going to take you to win business here.
