Judy Bradt has detailed knowledge of processes for dealing with the US border, along with excellent connections to other people whose expertise complements her own. When we met, Judy clarified key aspects of ITS Electronics’ situation with respect to US export controls.
I learned which US government officials are responsible for specific issues, and how the export controls process works between Canada and the United States at the higher levels of government.
Following Judy’s briefing, we incorporated a subsidiary in the United States. We then registered our American company with the US State Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
As a result, her advice helped us accomplish our primary goal of getting major prime contractors like Boeing to feel more comfortable doing business with ITS Electronics.
