We asked Judy to find some way for us to deliver value to our existing and potential companies – related to better ways to do business with the US government – to become more aware of opportunities and how to take advantage of those opportunities.
As a result, we had an informative session that got a lot of positive feedback, and accomplished our objectives of getting people together in a format where they would learn something and come away with a feeling of time well spent. That helps us build our legitimacy with our target markets: both companies established here and Canadian companies we're looking to attract into the county.
The audience benefited from Judy's presentation because it confirmed that there is opportunity and it's possible to deal with the federal government. While it may not be easy, there are sources of assistance out there.
She did a good job of giving them some information, leading them to resources they didn't know exist.
If this is something they really want to follow up on, Judy comes across as accessible and willing to help. When you invite people, you want to make good use of their time.
We're marketing ourselves, as an economic development organization, and that can get boring, so Judy delivered something they really enjoyed.
Judy's easy to deal with, flexible, and delivered an outstanding performance. She presented excellent content, and she did it in a way that reflects positively on our organization: just what you want in a speaker.
