World Trade Centre, Montreal

We asked Judy Bradt to help us prepare participants for a Trade Mission to Los Angeles, to give them an overview of the people they would be meeting, what they should be aware of when they work with prime contractors, and what could be the opportunities for them in that specific market.

Judy gave a presentation on how to get ready to meet with the prime contractors, who they would meet, what outcomes would be realistic to expect for those meetings, what they should know before working with the primes, and, if they already work with them, what information they should be aware of.

As a result, we managed participants' expectations. That's important because in a trade mission, we never know until a few days in advance who they'll meet with.

That means that they know how to do their follow up and get the most out of the meetings, even if those contacts were not the ideal contacts for them.

As a trade mission organizer, it's better for an outside person to tell the participants what outcomes are reasonable to expect. Participants were then prepared to continue developing contacts among the big prime contractors, and, by knowing Judy, gained another resource who can help them if they wish.

When we work with Judy, we always find a solution. I called her two weeks in advance, and she proposed a solution within our budget, and we managed that and it worked.

Everybody was happy. Her briefings always give us the real picture of what's going on in our industry right now, and how to manage expectations of what will happen on site during the trade mission.

Judy's presentations are always very interesting. It's always fun to listen to her. I'm learning a lot! She always puts it in a way that's easy to understand, and we get the message clearly.

The video conference used for the briefing worked fine, and I would do it again, because it was well done, it was clear. The way Judy speaks, her voice, her tone, everything was great.

Hire Judy Bradt! She has great experience, always gives good examples and is really prepared and knows what she's talking about.
